Every year we celebrate Dussehra and kill the dummy Ravana.

Is this worth?

Will it generate any result?

P.S.: Kill the Ravana within us and awake the Rama.

The concept behind killing Ravana every year is the symbol to get rid of all the evils, we have cultivated in our day to day life. Ravana as a mythological character was killed by Ram for hunting Sita. Other than this, he is known for all his knowledge, virtues, sister’s respect and many more good deeds but that one evil of kidnapping a woman led to his downfall. Aren’t we doing the same?

Somewhere it teaches the society to respect women in every way. Ravana is no other than the vices within you and Ram is the Conscience. The day we start focusing on our conscience, we will stop doing wrong, shameful and immoral acts.

In modern world, Ravana is the Corruption within the society, Fraud, Crime against women and child, Discrimination based on caste, creed and religion, Obsessive desires etc.

Individually it’s the Ego, Antisocial and Immoral behavior, Habit of procrastination, Jealousy toward others’ success etc. In order to win our Ravana we all need to grow ourselves internally by a way to Meditation.

“As you Sow so shall you Reap”. Do good and create good.

Lets take the oath this Dussehra to kill the devil and groom ourselves spiritually. Just eliminate one of the many vices every year as “Slow And Steady Wins The Race” and practice the good deeds to make a better world for us and our upcoming generation.
